So, when my friend, a previous WOK Pilot, told me (he did not ask me) that I was going to the top of Kilimanjaro and flying off. I simply responded, "I'm in", his response “great its life-changing”. My motive at the time was solely for the adventure. After doing the slightest bit of research my motive swiftly changed. I now understood the true duality in the meaning of the simple phrase life-changing. Yes, it will be an epic adventure and life-changing in the most cliché definition. However, the true meaning of life-changing when referring to Wings, is how every cent donated is going directly to the Maasai, providing often assumed quality of life improvements. Basics like building schools, providing access to fresh water and even planting trees. That is truly what makes Wings of Kilimanjaro life-changing and why at the end of the day I had to be part of this cause. So please help the Maasai by giving what you can or even sharing this page and cause with your friends and family. Thank you so much for supporting them.
